Parasite Cleanse Time!

Parasites can cause all kinds of illnesses and diseases.  Pregnant women can have dangerous effects from the toxoplasmosis from cats. Trichomoniasis causes no symptoms and is sexually transmitted, while some cause gas, bloating, diarrhea, greasy stools, dehydration, pain, aches, itching, cramps, nausea, vomiting, weight loss and fever, and these are just some of the symptoms! Now, if you are not itching and squirming yet, you're doing great! ​I know the thought of parasites inside our body creeps most people out, but we all have them.

​Why should I care about doing a parasite cleanse? All the reasons above and then some!

October is the best time of year in my opinion to do a parasite cleanse.  The main reason is that the summer activities have slowed down and the temperature is giving us all a break. 

The ideal time is to start 3 days (Oct. 21st) before the October full moon, which is October 24th.  We start the cleanse 3 days before the full moon as adult parasites are more active on a full moon.  There are many ways to do a parasite cleanse and I will share my favorite way and some of the products I have used and find great results with.  

​First, decide what type of parasite cleanse you need.  If you are not experiencing more than 1-2 symptoms from the list mentioned then you can just do a simplified parasite cleanse.  If you are experiencing more than 2 symptoms from the list then you need a more in-depth parasite cleanse.   No matter what cleanse you need, you need to plan your cleanse ahead of time to ensure you can start at the best time (Oct 21st), which means order your products now. 

Second, starting the cleanse and being consistent for the length of time is critical.  For the simplified parasite cleanse you start phase one (normally 10-14 days) and then stopping (7-10 days) and then starting the second phase (10-14 days). This  allows the eggs/babies to hatch since they are kept in check by the adults by-product when they are alive.  The adults will die in the first 10-14 days depending on the cleanse and then when you stop for 7-10 days, the eggs hatch and there is not enough time for them to lay eggs and more hatch before doing the second round to kill the remaining eggs/babies. For the more in-depth parasite cleanse they can vary on the type and length.  Instructions will be included for each one on how to best do the specific parasite cleanse. 

Parasite cleanses come in a  variety of types.  Some are all capsule, some all liquids and some include homeopathics, herbs, herbals tinctures and powders.

Here are some examples of the ones I have used:

Young Living: Parafree and Life 9.  Although the label says something different I do the Parafree by taking 3 capsules 2 times daily (empty stomach if tolerated) for 15 days, then stop for 7-10 days, then take 3 capsules 2 times daily (empty stomach if tolerated) for 15 days.  I take 1-2 capsules of the Life 9 toward bedtime the entire time.  

Nature's Sunshine: The para-cleanse in on backorder so here are the substitute products.  Black Walnut ATC 1 twice a day OR the Regular Black Walnut 2 capsules 2 times daily, the Artemisia Combination 2 capsules 2 times daily, and Herbal Pumpkin 2 capsules 2 times daily. In addition Probiotic Eleven (11) 2 in the evening before bed for one bottle.

Homeopathics and Herbal Tincture: This consist of homeopathic drops and herbal tincture drops.  These are taken 10 drops 2 times daily for 10 days then stopped for 10 days and repeated until gone.  The herbal tinctures are added to water while the homeopathic drops are taken sublingual.  I also recommend adding a probiotic to this regimen. 

No matter what option above you choose I still recommend something to help support your system such as yellow dock or paw paw.  1-2 capsule twice daily for 1 bottle is enough.
