Have you heard of tapping? or EFT? Some claim that tapping is a powerful technique which can be used for moving through emotional blocks. The technique is so powerful that it has been used with genocide victims in Rwanda and Bosnia, for disaster victims in Haiti and is used by a trainer of the British Special Forces in the Congo and with U.S. soldiers returning with PTSD panic attacks from the battlefield. Using 9 acupressure points this easy, simple, precise pattern has been proven to help people overcome many things. It acts in much the same way as a virus in a computer program by permanently interrupting the “program” or sequence of events that occur in the brain between the initial sighting of the thing you are afraid of and the physical response you experience. Many our one’s past hurts get stored in the mind and even in the body—affecting all their future actions and decisions. For many people in my training, getting past their “past” is difficult, painful, and—until the last decade or so—very difficult, particularly if they have experienced violence, trauma, or abuse early in life. Tapping Therapy stimulates the body’s own ability to release stored pain of any kind. The results are nothing short of miraculous. We offer a state of the art scan to help identify the most pressing emotion to tap away. Simply schedule your tapping scan today (click to schedule) and watch how easy it is to heal. If you do not a hand cradle you can purchase one here. You can also call and have a consult without a cradle. After a brief conversation the practitioner will send you a report and instructions to help you get started. #tapping #healthyself #tapthatcrapaway #tapforhealth @compwellnesssolutions

Did you know? I wish I would have known. Do you want to know? I didn't want to, but I am glad I did. Do you care? Yes, I do or no let me hide my head in the sand. Is this relative to me? Yes, it is to everyone. This will never happen! Oh, it does happen. The worst pain in the world is
Thanksgiving and Christmas. We diffuse "purification" or "thieves" all season/all year. I change it up by adding orange or another oil to it throughout the year. We also change it up on special days by adding a second diffuser to get us in the holiday mood. Christmas Spirit blend is something I love all season too. I am not a pumpkin spice gal and so Christmas/Thanksgiving smells are always in the air November to January.
Some of my favorite blends are
October is the month set aside for Breast Cancer Awareness. I have often struggled in my career with this topic. One thing in particular that has stood out to me is the large amounts of money that are collected that go toward research on breast cancer and cures. Don't get me wrong this is a good thing however, I personally have never donated to the "reactionary action" for this reason. I choose and have chosen to put my money in prevention and knowledge. The World Health Organization (WHO) says 70% of cancers are preventable with changes in lifestyle and diet. There are many ways to do this.
Parasites can cause all kinds of illnesses and diseases. Pregnant women can have dangerous effects from the toxoplasmosis from cats. Trichomoniasis causes no symptoms and is sexually transmitted, while some cause gas, bloating, diarrhea, greasy stools, dehydration, pain, aches, itching, cramps, nausea, vomiting, weight loss and fever, and these are just some of the symptoms! Now, if you are not itching and squirming yet, you're doing great! I know the thought of parasites inside our body creeps most people out, but we all have them.
Why should I care about doing a parasite cleanse? All the reasons above and then some! When adopting a drug exposed addicted baby there are many obstacles and challenges to overcome. One, is hair. See, Lillie has a sensory issue. Her sensory issues among other things makes taking care of her hair nothing less than extremely frustrating on a daily basis, for both her and I. Lillie is also biracial and her hair texture is a good mix of both which has made finding the right products frustrating as well. Most days use to and still on occasions ends with being angry and frustrated and/or her screaming or me simply saying screw it I am not doing that hair today. Now, this is not always the case anymore, as we have come a long way together and OT has been a life saver along with at home therapies. The days of scheduling a true hair appointment and enjoying the girl time are long gone. They have been replaced with moments when we drive by the Super Cuts and Lillie says "I want a haircut". When the boys joined the AFJROTC, we lived there. Lillie got to go with us when I took the boys (every 2 weeks) so she is familiar with the location and the people. The boys now drive themselves and she is not as exposed as she once was. It is not often, only 2 times total to be exact in almost 4 years until Monday that she has allowed or wanted to get a haircut. Monday was the 3rd time. We drove by the Super Cuts on the way to running a errand and she decided she wanted a haircut. Knowing this opportunity doesn’t come along often I made a u-turn and altered my going home plans. Now it 8PM and most of you know kids need to be getting a bath and bed at that time. I chose to listen to her and honor her timing. We went in and there were 2 girls working, perfect I will get my hair cut too. It was quiet and the most motherly person got Lillie and she was awesome. Her son too has sensory issues, so she knew how to talk to Lillie and work very slow and communicate every step with her. I was able to get my hair cut too. Lillie and her lady along with me and mine were having fun, being silly talking back and forth to each other. Lillie was so big and brave and was completely across the aisle from me but where she could see me. Her lady was so funny and playful doing her hair. (reminder her hair is a process and takes time) This lady was amazing and just what Lillie (and I ) needed. My lady was sassy, funny, and really took the time to love on me too. We were all having a blast. Then, THEN, you hear a man start yelling (click Read More to find out how this ends) We here on earth are part of a vast changing pool of energy. It is invisible, but that does not mean that it isn’t there. Scientifically speaking, these are vibrations on the physical realm that cannot be destroyed, but only transferred. When a shift occurs, it will affect your psychology, and you must look to your sense of calling.
Change can scare people, but it is essential. If you look at humans and how we have evolved and adapted, change is a constant adaptation that has enabled us to survive. Similarly, all things need to keep evolving and changing to become better versions of themselves. Most of us have experienced change. Not at the same time but at some point in life. It is commonly known that change may be received differently by separate groups of people. Similarly, all people do not react the same way to a shift in energy fields. The Full Moon on December 3rd is not just a regular Full Moon, but it is a Supermoon. Here are some ways to prepare yourself for the energetic shift: 1. CONCENTRATE ON STAYING HEALTHY It is never too late to start a healthier diet or a new healthy habit. We thrive on junk food and beverages that are horrible for our health. It is never too late to detoxify our body. If you start today and diligently stick to a routine or a physician’s diet, you are definitely doing the right thing for you and the health of your body. Cleansing your body also affects your mind positively. It will help you clear all the clutter of your mind and simply help you think better. Focus on what is important to you and ensure that you follow it regularly. Spend more of your day hanging outside the house. Find a nice garden, or just take a walk in a park. It will help you immensely. 2. MEDITATION/PRAYER You do not have to start by complete isolation and meditation at all times. Baby steps are important. Most people avoid meditation because they are misinformed about what it actually entails. You do not have to sit quietly for hours. There is a thing called ‘dance meditation’, where you play music of your liking and choice, and dance your heart out. Interesting? There’s more! The app called ‘HeadSpace’ literally guides your meditation step by step. Sometimes, it even has wonderful animation videos to inspire you. Try it out! Meditation helps in releasing toxins from your body, and meet life with a fresher perspective. 3. RE-EVALUATE YOUR BELIEFS We hardly ever pay attention to the relevance of our personalities and principles. We function on auto-pilot all the time. Stop, sit, and evaluate your actions and reactions. What is your stance on nuclear war? How do you feel about men holding hands? What do you value most in a human being? Find out more about how you are reacting to life, and then see if those are justified. 4. PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR INTUITION There is nothing that beats primal energy, or your gut feeling. If your stomach turns at the thought of something, then follow that feeling because it is usually right. Listen to your sixth sense. It is constantly trying its best to communicate with you. If you are in a tough situation, think about how you would advise a friend if they were going through the same. Completely distance yourself from it, and look at it from a third person’s point of view. It will make things much clearer. I am sure you have a bundle of advice for your younger self. If it makes it easier, try to imagine what your older self would say to you. 5. ACCEPT CHANGE Things rarely ever stay the same. As I mentioned, change is inevitable for evolution. Apart from the physical realm, there are several other spaces that constantly undergo modification. If you cling to the past, it will only hurt you and leave you behind. It is a very negative character trait to harbor. Your ever-changing problems will be needing different solutions. The keys will stop fitting into your brain, if it does not adapt to the circumstances. Don’t let yourself be left behind and forgotten! (adapted from simplecapacity) I am not sure how many people have heard the Ted talk from Brene Brown about shame. She shares in her talk (link below) about shame after her prior talk on vulnerability the year before. (also below) I decided to share this story as my first official blog post about these two videos. See, over the years shame and vulnerability have kept me in a box. About 15ish or so years ago I was on an airplane and I honestly thought I was going to die. We were going into Dulles Airport which is outside of DC in a really bad storm. I was on the way to pick up my kids and take them back to Texas. I happen to be sitting by a man who was a spiritual consultant to a famous person and I didn't know it at the time of our initial conversation. As I was rambling some crazy stuff about dying, and I think he had had enough and finally started talking to me. For some crazy reason I shared some deep stuff with this total stranger. After a few minutes I think he again had finally had enough of me and finally looked at me and said "You were not a victim when ______ happened, you chose to be a victim each time after that when let it control you". Oh, how dare this man talk to me like this. He was no better than the man who did it to me a this point I was feeling. I was so angry. I didn't speak to him anymore and hoped he died in the storm. Not really but at the time it felt good. So, after getting off the plane and getting some food finally which resulted in my blood sugar back in check, I wrote what he said down. I happen to open my laptop side pocket and this man had wrote the quote on the paper for me with a comment that said "see you soon". "God has plans for you". WHAT, God has plans for me? Now I know he is crazy right. If God only knew (LOL) what I had done and all the crap I lived through he would never choose me for anything. Wow, all the crap I have lived through. Right! God only knows. Fast forward to almost a year later and I am now on a plane to North Carolina to a conference for MaryKay. I was running late as my flight was late getting in and I slept a little too late. I arrived and the room was packed and as I looked around I heard a voice on the speaker say "there is a seat right up front". No, not me not up front, I have to walk in front of all these people (insert shame and embarrassment, yet again) and I bravely walk up front with my head down. I take my seat and I hear him whisper, God told me to save this seat for you. NO, not that voice. NO, it can't be him can it. Can I kill him? No, I must now sit and endure him talking. YEP, you guessed it. Mr. Nasty from a year prior. I guess he didn't die in that storm after all. Not funny really. So, after the meeting I try to be small, hide, and sneak out and thanking God he would not be at anymore of the meetings. So as I walk out of the door I hear that voice, oh friend, come over here for a minute. "FRIEND", who is he calling friend? Since I knew better than to be rude I kindly, went over while thinking of ways to get out of there fast. He asks to talk to me and even how I had been. He shared a few things with me and I found myself softening and listening. I chose to embrace him instead of running in shame away. I chose to not let the "incident" have power anymore. It had kept me small, shameful, insignificant, less than for long enough. I chose to eat with him and his wife dinner that night. I learned to live boldly, follow my dreams and to accept God did have plans for me. See he taught me a technique I use to this day in my practice, one of being open to what God has for me. I often tell my clients "can you be open to_____?"This often softens the person and topic by practicing being open to____. Upon returning home a few days later I met a man called Michael. He too taught me many things but the most important was "What If.....?" What if I followed my dreams, What If I lived like I deserved__? What if God could do amazing things through me? What if...? So many What If's over the years. Then right after this I met Terri. She opened my eyes to natural toxin-free products and a mission of changing the world. See friends, when I got open the opportunities, opportunities started flowing and the world opened up. God was putting people in my path one after another. It was so hard to keep up and breathe at times. Things happened so fast. By this point the triplets were one and had suffered serious health related issues unrelated to their prematurity. My whole world and theirs was about to change. I chose to stop watching life and starting playing in the arena. I chose to lead and change even when I felt alone. Then guess what, God then put a man in my life that sent me a song (below) after sharing how lonely it was to forge a new way in the world. I shared of heartache and pain of the name calling even by own husband at the time. He was cruel at times and it was hurtful. See opposition can even be from within your own home. This time I stumbled but it didn't get me. I chose to stop and think. I chose to listen to the song every day. Sometimes, many times a day. I chose a new way. See, it didn't matter what he (my husband) said or anyone else. God was setting a path and I was following. In the song it mentions how lonely the pioneer is and how God is the only that goes before. It was so true back then. See, I was never alone. God was always there. He is and always will be there laying the next step. So even to this day when I feel alone and forging a new way again I turn on this song and remind myself, I am not alone, God is there making a path. I have included this song as well below. Maybe it could help you too.
Hi there, my name is Tonya. I am a mother of eight wonderful children. My story to natural health started over twenty years ago. Then about fifteen years ago when my triplets got sick and our house was consumed by mold, I got really serious about healthy living. Long story short my triplets got real sick and I had a wake up call. We were at the doctor and he said "your children do not have asthma because of mold" "they have asthma because of their reaction to the mold". WHOA! wake up call right? YES it was. A big one. I turned to alternative health when traditional medicine only offered more medicine, more nebulizers, and increased episodes of occurrence. Finding Young Living was a no brainer to add to my cabinet of options. Using alternative health with the use of oils has changed our family forever. NO more nebulizer rage and our family has never been healthier. Come partner with us and learn all about "A Natural to a Healthier You!" We have a team of people ready to help start you on your path today!
